This past Saturday I had the honor to perform an amazing fire belly dance show at a beautiful event space for an 18th bday party. I opened the show with my LED wings and followed it with an upbeat drum solo.
The audience was so excited and enthusiastic about my show that they joined me on the dance floor almost immediately! This always makes it so much more fun! As I always say: a great performance is a 2 way street- the more energy the crowd offers, the more energy the performer is able to giveback.
I then performed with my fire sword, where the father of the bday boy then came up to the dance floor and showered me with money. While I always love a great money shower, not always the greatest idea with a flaming sword in the vicinity but luckily no dollar bills we’re hurt on injured in the process 😅 but all jokes aside, my fire safety assistant is always on standby to monitor and control everyone’s safety.
After dancing with fire sword, I performed one of my favorite choreographies: my fire fans choreo! For the grand finale, I danced with my fire crown and palm torches.
Since everyone was having so much fun dancing with me, I continued to dance a couple more songs after my show officially ended which the clients really appreciated.
I’m always more than happy to stretch my show 10-15 minutes if my schedule allows and everyone is really enjoying the show.
Nothing makes me happier than to see my clients happy 🥰
